Unlocking Recovery: The Case for Early Specialist Rehabilitation

image

We are pleased to invite healthcare and legal professionals to a specialist seminar exploring the role of early, personalised neurorehabilitation in achieving better outcomes for people with life-changing injuries.

Hosted in partnership with Hugh James, this in-person event brings together medical and legal expertise to examine how timely access to specialist rehabilitation can transform the lives of individuals following catastrophic injury, and how close collaboration between professionals can deliver the best possible results.

With insights from experienced speakers across trauma, litigation and neurological care, this event is designed to support professionals working within clinical, legal and case management fields to better understand the opportunities and frameworks available to enable early intervention.

What the seminar will cover

Through a series of short talks and discussion, attendees will gain:

  • Expert insight into the value of early neurorehabilitation following traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other complex neurological conditions
  • Practical guidance on the legal processes that can support access to rehabilitation funding and provision at the earliest possible stage
  • Examples of collaborative working in practice, including case studies demonstrating the impact of coordinated clinical and legal involvement
  • An introduction to the services at Hamberley Neurocare Southampton, including our outcome-focused pathways and consultant-led interdisciplinary team

The seminar is followed by refreshments, time to network with colleagues and speakers, and a guided tour of our state-of-the-art service. Attendees will have the opportunity to see how our environment, technology and clinical approach are supporting people to rebuild their lives.

Who should attend

This seminar is suitable for professionals working in:

  • Neurorehabilitation and clinical services
  • Personal injury law and litigation
  • Case management and care coordination
